Fiber ball filter is a new type of precision water treatment equipment in pressure filter. Especially in low permeability reservoirs, fine filtration technology for water injection has not been able to meet the requirements of water injection in low permeability reservoirs.
Fiber ball filter can meet the standard of oily sewage reinjection. It is made of a special kind of fibers synthesized by a new chemical formula. The main feature is the improvement in essence, from the lipophilic type of fiber filter material to the hydrophilic type. The inner filter layer of the high efficiency fibre ball filter uses polyester fibre ball with a height of about 1.2m, and the raw water enters and flows out from top to bottom.
Polyester fiber ball filter material has the characteristics of small density, good flexibility, compressibility and large void fraction. When it is filtered, it is subjected to pressure, and the fiber balls cross each other to form a dense filter layer distribution state. Fiber ball has its unique characteristics: it can absorb suspended particles in water at the same time with great specific surface area and porosity, give full play to the ability of deep-seated filtrate interception; it is not easy to wash back, thus reducing water consumption; it also has the advantages of wear resistance and chemical stability; When the filter material is seriously polluted by organic matters, it can also be regenerated by chemical cleaning.

Especially in low permeability reservoirs, the fine filtration technology for water injection has not been broken through, and far from meeting the requirements of water injection in low permeability reservoirs. A new equipment for oily sewage treatment is used to modify fibre ball filter, which has high treatment accuracy and is used for fine filtration of oily sewage in oilfields.
The fibre ball filter material used in the filter is made of special fibre silk synthesized by a new chemical formula. Its main feature is that the fibre filter material is changed from lipophilic type to hydrophilic type by essential modification treatment. The diameter of the filter material can reach tens of microns or even several microns. It has the advantages of large specific surface area and small filtration resistance. It solves the problem that the filtering accuracy of granular filter material is limited by the size of the filter material. It is a replacement product of quartz sand and other granular filter media filtration equipment.

Effect comparison
(1) the modified fiber ball has a small diameter, large specific surface area and a specific surface area of 2000 /g. (3) Modified fibre balls have a larger proportion than ordinary fibre balls and are not sticky to oil. They can sink to the bottom of the tank under hydraulic action, and the pore structure of the upper and lower tight filter layer is better. When modified fibre balls filter material is running, the pore ratio of the filter layer gradually decreases along the direction of water flow, forming a relatively ideal distribution of large and small pore on the filter material. The cutting effect is enhanced, and the filtering effect is good.
Performance comparison
High filtration accuracy: the removal rate of suspended solids in water can be close to 100%. It has obvious removal effect on bacteria, viruses, macromolecule organic matter, colloids, iron and other impurities.
L filtering speed is fast: generally 30-45m/h, up to 80m/h. It is equivalent to 2-3 times of other granular filter media (anthracite, quartz sand, magnetite, etc.). In order to meet the same accuracy requirements, the modified fibre ball filter should be used in the first stage, double filter material filter, sand filter and so on.
